Bibliothek Teil 3

Hallo und Willkommen in meiner Bibliothek zum nächsten Lesekreis! Schön, dass du hier bist. Mach es dir bequem, gönn dir eine schöne heiße Tasse deines Lieblingsgetränkes und lass und gemeinsam in die Bücherwelt eintauchen.

Heute möchte ich euch meine Bücher aus dem Juni, Juli, August und September vorstellen indem ich ein paar Worte darüber verliere, den Klapptext sowie das Coverbild beisteuere und am Ende meinen Senf dazu abgebe. Da ich so viele Monate hier zusammenfasse, komme ich entsprechend auch auf eine stolze Zahl von 11 Bücher. Jedoch sind fünf davon von einer Light Novel Reihe und drei weitere von 86 – Eighty Six, über welche ich nun bereits sehr viel geschrieben habe und daher nur erwähnen werde.

Eine weitere Information vorab: Ich lese hauptsächlich auf Englisch, doch ich stelle euch hier die Bücher auch auf Deutsch vor – ob es eine Übersetzung gibt oder nicht. Doch genug der Vorrede, starten wir mit der ersten Vorstellung:

 

“Tea You At The Altar” von Rebecca Thorne

Mein Fazit:
Wie bereits die ersten beiden Bücher hat mich auch in diesem die Beziehung der beiden Protagonisten Kianthe und Reyna verzaubert. Von den „cozy Fantasy“ Büchern, die ich bisher gelesen habe begeistert mich Tomes & Tea am meisten. Denn was ich an Fantasy und Romantasy am wenigsten mag, ist das Beziehungsdrama, welches teilweise nur aufgrund von schlechter Kommunikation weiter aufgestachelt wird. Das findet man bei diesen Beiden Ladies nicht. Nicht nur liebe ich die Kommunikation zwischen den Beiden, sondern auch, dass es nicht mehr darum geht, ob sie nun ein Paar werden oder nicht.
Ich liebe wie „erwachsen“ beide sind. Wie gefestigt in ihrer eigenen Person und dem Vertrauen ineinander. Kein unnötiges Drama zwischen den Beiden, nur eine nervtötende Königin, der das Handwerk gelegt werden muss.

 

“Stars Of Chaos” Band 1 von Priest

The Seven Seas English-language edition will include exclusive, all-new covers and new interior illustrations.

Mein Fazit:
Ich hatte es bisher noch nie so schwer einen Danmei zu lesen wie „Stars of Chaos“. Tatsächlich habe ich mich sehr auf das Buch gefreut, da es typische Damnei Inhalte mit Steam Punkt verbindet, doch nicht nur war es sehr schwer den Hauptcharakter „Chang Geng“ ins Herz zu schließen, auch sein Gegenpart, „Shen Shiliu“ löste in mir mehr Empörung und Ärger aus, als dass ich ihn mochte.
Zwar sind große Altersunterschiede in diesen Büchern selten eigenartig, doch bei Stars of Chaos störte es mich doch sehr, da die ganze Interaktion zwischen den beiden Hauptcharakteren enorm unausgeglichen und toxisch war.
Zwar habe ich das Buch grundsätzlich genossen, jedoch werde ich wohl davon absehen mir die weiteren Bände zuzulegen.

Das Buch wird wohl beim Carlsen Verlag auch auf Deutsch erscheinen.

 

“The Husky And His White Cat Shizun” Band 1 von Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou

Mein Fazit:
„The Husky and his White Cat Shizun” ist nicht mein erster Danmei, jedoch hatte ich zu Beginn so meine Schwierigkeiten in die Geschichte einzusteigen. Jedoch war das Buch letztendlich wundervoll humorvoll und mit genug Spannung und Drama, sodass ich mehr als einmal das Buch zur Seite legen musste. Die teilweise sehr obsessiven Gedanken und Einstellungen des Hauptcharakters „Mo Ran“ haben in mir eine Menge Kopfschütteln ausgelöst, jedoch war es schön zu lesen, dass er sich mit genau dieser in so einige Probleme katapultiert. Auch der zweite Hauptcharakter „Chu Wanning“ gab mir genug Momente der Verwunderung und des Gelächters, sodass ich mich bereits freue mehr von den beiden zu lesen.

Das Buch ist auch auf Deutsch verfügbar.

Mein Fazit:
Die ersten beiden Bänder der Serie habe ich mir als Hörbuch angehört und habe mich direkt verliebt. Iris ist eine starke, unabhängige Frau, die jedoch trotzdem so ihre Probleme hat und nicht übermäßig perfekt wirkt. Es geht viel um Staatsführung und nicht nur um Liebesdrama. Obwohl die Autorin bei all den Machenschaften, der Politik und den Produktentwicklungen nicht tief ins Details geht, so ist es Detailreich genug, sodass man sich auch intellektuell angesprochen fühlt. Ich habe die ersten fünf Bücher der Reihe sehr genossen und freue mich in den folgenden drei Bänden nicht weiter über Iris sondern über ihre Mutter, Merellis, zu lesen.

Mein Fazit:
Ich glaube über 86-Eighty Six habe ich nun bereits zu genüge geschrieben, um jeden wissen zu lassen, dass es meine klarer Favorit ist. Bisher hat kein anderes Buch mich dermaßen mitgerissen und auch Band 8, 9 und 10 waren da keine Ausnahme. Ich freue mich bereits darauf mit Band 11, 12 und 13 die Reihe nun endgültig abzuschließen und endlich zu erfahren, ob die Legion gestoppt werden kann!
